I have been trying to get candleberries for ages by bone mealing grass and then cutting down the various things that popped up. Nine stacks of bone meal later and still no candleberries, any help?

it's all RNG, but 9 stacks of bonemeal should've given you a few candleberry seeds or candleberry themselves which you can turn into seeds.

I always set up a 7x7 grass platform with an activator pointed upwards under the center grass block and another activator pointing downwards 2 layers above the center grass block
put some bonemeal in the bottom activator, put a scythe in the upper activator set to left clicking and set up a vacuum hopper with a diamond chest and let it run a few stacks of bonemeal

I have the worst luck with RNG on this pack... Thanks I'll try out this awesome contraption that you have suggested.

You can always use a Sprinkler instead of Bonemeal, that'll grow grass and various things. Just use the Scythe to harvest, since those Pam Tree saplings don't get harvested by MFR machines.

I prefer bone meal because it is quicker.
