Ruvine base help

Hey guys, I decided to move and then I found this really cool ruvine so I moved down too the ruvine and moved all my stuff and made a small temporary path there. And I was gonna make rooms but since the ruvine is curved the rooms can't be square and then I got the idea of making it all a big room and then closing it off with walls, but then the rooms will be pretty weird and curved.

All I need is an idea on how I can make this look good and at the same time be a good base.

Change as little about it as you can get away with so it still looks natural. Add wooden walkways and stairs connecting different levels. Id carve a room or three.

That's actually an pretty good idea, i'll try that out thank you! :D
 
What I would do is theme the base. If you are into tech, make up some story about a nuclear fallout and you can only stay out for like 10 minutes at a time. Design the base as a bunker. Or you could do a dark magic theme and terraform the surface to look like a rift into hell/underworld/nether. Be creative!

Rotarycraft is so huge I'm not going to take all the screenies for the tilesheet, so you're better off shooting a convo to me and Paddy @Padfoote.

May I ask what modpack you are using? We can't really suggest mods to help you without knowing the pack.
Im using unleashed. And yes thank you for being the 10th person pointing that out lol :D

Yeah but I really like the first theme, kind of abondon place with rooms and stairs going up too the rooms. Would look really cool if I could make it as I'm picturing in my head :D
 
You'd want to try and keep the structure as open as possible- go for glass/transparant floors, tall open rooms with bridges across ect.
-Try digging some natural looking alcoves in the side to house some larger complexes, otherwise you'll cram too much in and it gets a little claustrophobic.

Either way please drop the oak floor -if you carry on like that, you might as well just live in a cave as you'll lose the ravine effect.
