With Magical Crops installed, I tend to make the juicer and make bottles of berries blast. Fills up 4 hunger and the berries are easy to grow.

Carrots or bread early game. Potatoes mid game. Pumpkin pie and cakes late game. I feel the need to make something richer for myself as I progress throughout Minecraft. I've always wanted to get into Agriculture, but for now it seems like too much work.

on a normal world... carrots. they can give you several from one matured crop, give decent saturation, and don't need to be cooked

1 uncooked fish in a culinary generator in 3600RF. That same amount of power only produced 179 out 900 work units needed for 1 fish.

Cooking the fish before burning it in the culinary generator resulted in 16000RF, which is exactly the amount needed to make 1 fish through 900 work units.

Therefore if you used a free method of smelting you could break even and slowly convert your other food types to fish. If not, you would lose power.
OK, RWTema obviously saw that one, but the fish traps from mariculture should work I think .:)

Guess I overdid it on the donuts (again)

I'm usually a bread eater, because it's easy to just craft up a stack of it. with the odd meat item thrown in whenever i have a full stack of it. the thing is, that with the vanilla hunger mechanic. a single stack of roasted chicken will go a loong way. in fact, I usually run out of feathers before i run out of chicken meat. it's the same with leather/steak, So i have a policy of not breeding any more animals than i need, then eating the meats and filling the rest with whatever i fancy growing in my small garden area. late game I often end up ignoring the whole garden. too much easy meat to eat.
This is actually one of the more anoying things with modded minecraft. vanilla hunger just can't keep up with consuming the plethora of easy food in these packs.

On my current world otoh. with hunger overhaul.. well... food is suddenly a real issue, and making higher quality meals have become somewhat a priority. altho you can make by with just using a bigger farm, however with the ability to make carrot, apple and other types of pie, that has become my main goto. surplus apples from the tree farm?. apple pie time. the carrot pile growing big? time for a stack of carrot pies. all the surplus food that I cannot eat, is turned into dirt. It is Agrarian skies after all. I've never been happier for it. I hate it when all the needs are just automatically met. it turns the game from survival into creative with monsters, and where is the real fun in that?

I usually start with bread and use the wheat later on to breed cows, unless I find a village super early on. Then I start with carrots and go to potatoes

that looks like vanilla minecraft with resource pack... :)
btw what is name of that resource pack, i love it , it looks like john smith .
You didn't see the "Obese" thing over the food bar and that massive gut? That's what I need. For Science.

I don't see Monster Jerky on the list......

I've been meaning to grab a zombie spawner that's fairly close to my starting location and set up an essence farm and use the zombie flesh for food.

Got a nice little set up now where after some caving I stop by and drop some flesh off into a chest and it cycles them into drying racks and takes them back into the same chest... I like this method for now because I can split off some flesh if I need some leather.

I know ,lots of food are missing in the poll , im sorry . :(

I usually set up a wheat farm for bread ASAP, but since the hunger bar depletes so fast I often have to hunt animals as well.
