In general, what kinds of tools do you guys use in analyzing/optimizing your processes? How do you ensure that your system is working optimal/as expected?

I just use Steve's factory manager and I add tons of bullet proofing to the system

By system, are we talking about the rig we run MC on, or something like an ore processing system?
