Bug with Thermal expansion, or I do something wrong?

And that's because you're using the default Minecraft Launcher. If you used even the FTB Launcher you'd be going from (FTB Installation Folder path)/(pack name)/minecraft/ and then you locate the file.
For MultiMC it's(MultiMC install folder path)/instances/(Instance Name)/Minecraft to reach stuff.
