Description of the problem: It won't start up.. granted I added a few mods I figured shouldn't have any problems running, I get a common thing of:

"Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: ignoring option PermSize=256m; support was removed in 8.0"

Try removing java 8 and using version 7 because afaik ftb does not support version 8. Make sure to reboot after doing both things.

Yep, Java 8 is still very much a beta process and many programs that use Java aren't compatible with it. Just make sure when you "downgrade" to Java 1.7.0_51 that you get the 64-bit version.

I can't use 64 bit anything guys.. my computer doesn't support anything higher than 32bit. (piece of junk that it is.)

But alright I'll downgrade back to java 7..

Well, that puts a bit of a damper on you playing a majority of the 1.6.4 FTB packs. Only FTB Lite 2 is designed to run on 32-bit systems. The rest require more RAM allocation than 32-bit Java allows.
