you'll need to grow a silverwood tree that contains a pure node.
I believe jarring a pure node, and breaking it in a biome will also change it to magical forest, though it takes time for the node to do it's work
that means you only need to find a silverwood tree with a pure node, jar it, and break the jar at the location where you want a magical forest.

you don't have to find a magical forest biome to find a silverwood tree, you can get lucky and find a Biome's o Plenty biome which also allows silverwood trees to generate

Silverwood trees cannot be grown with bonemeal. You need to use a hoe of growth to grow them on demand.

Pure nodes, when unjarred in a new area will not, afaik, do anything. To cleanse land you use ethereal blooms that will convert tainted and eerie biome back to the biome it was before being tainted / made eerie.

A silverwood tree, grown from a sapling, has a high chance to convert an area around itself to magical forest. This effect takes a while to manifest, and can happen regardless of whether the tree spawns a pure node or not.
