i have a carpenter. I'm trying to make an impregnated casing.
after letting the squeezer run all night I finally got a can of seed oil.
so everything is hooked up just like in all the tutorial videos.
I have 2 combustion engines providing power. Logs are in the bottom. on the top the logs are in the proper square pattern.
The oil is in. 2 cans in fact since I thought only 1 can might be the problem.
now nothing happens with the power on.
the box that shows the result shows a progress bar at 100% yet nothing appears in the output box.

Did you put the logs in the inventory? You shape a ghost recipe then put the materials it needs in the inventory.

Yes did everything like the tutorial like I said "Logs are in the bottom. on the top the logs are in the proper square pattern."
and the "result you can't take out but shows the progress" box shows an impregnated casing

Does it look like this?

If so and it still doesn't run, its probably the power thats not connected properly. Any chance you could link a screenshot of it?
And the craft only requires a 1/4th of a bucket of seedoil, so that shouldent be the problem.

my guess is you put the cans in the output slot. if you put the cans in properly, they should dissapear and the liquid gauge should have seed oil in it.

if the progress bar fills but doesn't complete, something is blocking the output of the casing.

It works now. I disconnected the squeezer and the carpenter started up. I guess there wasn't enough power to run both at the same time.

They`ve really changed it like that? Thats not funny! In the 1.4.7 packs (dont know the BC version) you can power a centrifuge, a squeezer and a carpenter of one electrical engine (1 MJ/t). It`s slow, but it works :D

Sitting in a meeting ;)

Definitely. Or if all else fails, the sledgehammer approach to power generation. Sixty max-size High Pressure Railcraft Steamboilers. If you can't run it with that, you don't need to run it at all.

that's alot of cows you've got there ;)

I could've sworn that was the texture of cows o_O
but I'd be lazy and just catch 3 villagers and let them breed instead of moving them all :p
I primarily wanted special villagers, bee/tree villagers, mystcraft, thaumcraft etc. Wasnt really interested in the normal villagers. So did a bit of exploring with my safari gun :p
Wasn't sure if breeding the villagers would spawn those, so didnt bother trying and spend the time exploring instead, which also yielded some nice items etc.

Breeding villagers spawns random villager babies.

Breeding villagers spawns random villager babies.

not completely true... because for some reason TC4 doesn't seem to spawn new thaumcraft villagers in 1.6.4 with breeding. I know because I tried breeding, and out of more then 400 villagers there was not a single new thaumcraft villlager

Maybe that mechanic changed then from 1.4 which was when i last made a villager breeder.

maybe, maybe not... the thing is, it could very well be a bug, but as TC4 added pechs which can be used for trading, maybe Azanor disabled breeding of Thaumcraft villagers...
