I have no idea if this was asked before, nor if it is in the correct section on the forums, but I didn't see it anywhere else and figured I should ask.
Also, I am ignoring RP due to it probably being removed from FTB (don't smite me). The same probably applies to it, but I'm focused more on BC.

Anyways, the mass fabricator has something kinda weird with pipes. The input is at the bottom. I was curious if there was a way I could access some sort of config file to change this or some sort of work-around so I can have the input on the top. I am using the Ultimate pack for version 1.4.7 with Optifine added. I will not mind adding more mods. Anyone got any ideas?

You could use something with sneaky shifting support, like MiscPeripheral's Inventory Turtles, Logistics Pipes, or Factorization Routers to specify input to the bottom face.

About what you said about RP.. IM GONNA SMITE YOU IN THE FACE!

Now that i finished with my sort-of racism, you could use AE interface :) It works pretty well (no matter where you put it)

Another thing that works great is putting a hopper down on the ground and have everything from your storage system just fly out into the big pile of items and hopefully some of them will go in the machine or whatever. It also works for chests and stuff too. You might lose some stuff in lava though. It's a lot cheaper though because instead of having pipes going downward, you can just use gravity and a hopper/obsidian pipe. to pick them back up. Trust me, is good idea

Thanks Choco! I decided that Factorization Routers, albeit expensive, are the best in my situation though. It's the most compact thing to do surprisingly. Thanks everyone!

I hope you realize that my reply was a joke... It would be a cool idea though, dropping items downward into water into hoppers/obsidian pipes...
