I loved Ars Magicka at first. After I got a few of the spells however.. honestly only a small handfull of the tons of spells it has are even useful. Most of the damaging / combat spells deal such pathetic damage in 'Standard Casting Mode' that I'd rather have a IC2 Mining Laser or a good enchanted bow. Why worry about mana levels and spell books? (Shrug)

So.. I was initially super-keen on Ars. Now? Meh, I'd rather not have it cluttering up the landscape. That's just MY opinion, however.,

I was watching Jadedcat's stream on twitch last night, and I heard that the reason Ars Magica isn't being included is not due to being overpowered. It is mostly because it causes too many conflicts and errors with other mods, and they are all due to Ars Magica's programming.

I asked Lemming about the bugs, and he told me. " I can't even quantify them.

If you add Ars Magicka after TE, it just won't work, period. You have to do a clean install of both mods at the same time. Then TE will intelligently reassign IDs.

Even after that, prepare for render bugs, random crashes, a broken Igneous Extruder, etc. "

I wonder why it was so easy for me. Ars and TE have never given me issues.

The main question is. Who will fix the bugs or will they ever get fixed? I want Ars Magica. It is one of my favorite mods, but I can't use it cause of the sheer amount of bugs:(

Oh god the grammar, oh god the way you would pass out if you said all this out loud

No, i am not a grammar nazi, much.

OT: I havent played ars magica much, so i wouldnt know the exploit/implementation of infinite resources. Only seen DW20 use it.

Because you are superior to others at making packs?

Yeah, it's evident you're not a "grammar Nazi" because...

And your sentence structure hurts me, I'm not grammarly master race either, but you hurt me.

Mostly because you can generate an infinite amount of any resource you want.

And yes that includes all mod resources as well because you can manually add them to the config.

DoctorOr's setup has been posted many times.

What you can do in the configs should never be considered a negative. Yes, you CAN add mod resources to the config, but if people choose to do that it's on them. All that matters for the pack is how the pack sets up the config.

And anyway, UU-matter and extra bees can already generate infinite resources out of nothing.

Right. Which is why RichardG's comment confused me. I wonder if its because you could make a good argument that the blue nexus is too easy to automate or should require tougher material components.

I dunno, but that still wouldn't make sense. A 2 year old could automate EU production once a few starting resources are available.

I acidently a whole grammar.

increase in resource requirements makes no real difference, it just pushes point, at which you care not about resources, further. adding complexity to automation would make more sense.
