adding ars magica

i want to play the ultimate pack with friends
and we all watnted the ars magica mod.
when i opened the game the chat wrote something that include ars magica so i thoght that i can insall it and play it with my friends on my server...
i google it for days and didnt find something helpful. can u explain me how to do it? from the begin to the end

I believe Ars Magica is only for 1.5.x right now. And it WILL have ID conflicts, regrardless of MC version.
Fix the conflicts in the configs.

what mean MCORE? and there is a sever file for 1.4.7?

If you go to the link Ash provided above and click on the old version spoilers it has all the downloads you need. You want Ars Magica 5.37.007 and MCore 3.3.07. Also under the installation spoiler there is a video that tells you how to install both the client and server version. You do not need to install forge as that is part of FTB, but moving the files into the folders as shown. Starting with 1.3.2 the files are usually universal which means the same file is used for client and server, Ars Magica is universal.

Once installed look here for fixing the ItemID conflicts. Post 4 - 7.

The configs on the server must be the same as the client. You need to change both or else you will get ItemID mismatches. Once you get your client working with the server distribute the configs to your friends to use.

i cant find the ars magica config file.... i think i found it (it called AMConfig.class) but i cant find the blockmagelightdim... and change it id to something else... i founde another filr and it called BlockMageLightDim.class but in it i cant find the ID... what i suppose to do?

Your configs are not in the zip files. Open your FTB folder and navigate to this folder \Ultimate\minecraft\config In here are your configs.

i dont know y but it seem like it work for me without messing with the files... it will work for my friends to? i put the ars magica in and the MCORE in the right folder and it work like a charm for me in single and multiplayer
