logistics crafting pipe not working?

Hello!
I have set up logistics pipes system around my base, complete with auto sorting and requesting. Now i am trying to add a auto crafting system and am having some trouble. What i did was place a crafting logistics pipe next to a automatic crafting table and then i put the desired recipe in the table. However i am unable to request said item, and i have no idea why. Maybe something has changed in the newer versions?
- I have disabled logistics power so that shouldnt be the problem
- the pipe is connected to the rest of the system and is showing green
- the pipe is connected to my chests which do have the required items

Any ideas?

Have you imported the crafting table's recipe into the pipe GUI? Click on the pipe with a wrench to bring up the GUI.
