As far as I am aware, the Demon Portal has not been fully implemented into the new version of Blood Magic (I asked a friend a similar question recently myself!) - while the crystal cluster blocks made from the Soul and Life shards are in the mod, I don't think there's a recipe for them? Possibilities you could check are for whether the ritual diviner (once upgraded to Dusk level) has the Convocation of the Damned ritual, whether the crystal clusters do in fact have a recipe, and whether demon summoning via the arcane plinth is still possible.
