If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Title 4 FPS when I tab out of minecraft

Launcher Type FTB Launcher

Modpack Mindcrack

Modpack version 1.7.10

Have you modified the pack? Yes

Link to log file

Details of the issue I have been playing on the mindcrack modpack for a few months now and have not found any real issues until lately. When every I tab out of minecraft to change my music or whatever, the fps within minecraft will go down to 4. I have no idea how to fix this. I have a high end PC and I doubt it is hardware issues. Also, when I save and quit, the main menu will also have very low FPS.
The changes to the pack that I have made is that I've added in a solar panel mod (I added this in months ago) Thank you

A full log would be nice as well, even if there's on crash, it will still show some usefull information about your system.

It sounds like something with your system and not specfic to a modpack.

Have you tried it with other modpacks?
Yes I have and the problem persist which is very annoying :(

I've also noticed that when I'm on the first 2 pages of too many items my frame rate drops quite significantly, I don't suppose this could be a factor of the issue?

I'm getting quite worried how because if I have minecraft open in the background now (only on the menu) it makes any game I launch play at 5 FPS :/

Now I'm just getting a terrible frame rate all the time, I mean it's not like I have bad specs
I have a msi 970 (I have made sure this is running java and not onboard graphics)
32 GB of ram and have allocated more and more and nothing changes
a i5-4690k which is not being used fully
I am so confused, any help is much appreciated

Sorry I made a mistake. Can you check the logs folder for the latest fml log. I believe it creates a new log everytime the pack is ran.

Minecraft can only use 1 Core. Can you see if at least 1 of your cpu cores is getting maxed out.

I just 'played' for about half an hour and the CPU on all cores was about 50% usage all the time
