ANOTHER PROBLEM, WHO WOULDVE GUESSED!

Well, now my problem is that i can't get trough Early-Game without getting bored.

Any tips?

I always set an early game goal, like enough diamonds for a turtle or a quarry, or try to get an enchanting table with full bookshelves, or get to the nether for glowstone to make a jet pack. Once I get those then I just get another goal in mind, like a sorting and processing system that can handle the quarry output. I just keep on going that way until I get pretty much everything, then I try experimenting with something I haven't played with yet or working on the house.

Its tougher to give specifics without knowing what modpack you're using. I will say that it is a huge grind with gregtech installed and the first hours are seriously tedious for me because it makes some of those earlier things so hard to get unless you change the config.

With GT, my early goal was always to get aluminium, and then my game gets easier with the aluminium to iron substitute for many recipes.

Make a mining turtle and have it tunnel and or excavate. You can use a gem pick instead of diamonds. That's what I do. One of the reasons I came to modded minecraft is I was sick of mining by hand.

Normally I'm not too bothered about mining, but then again I also have music on to numb my mind from any boredom. Though if you want early game machines to assist you, I'd recommend the following:
  • Pulverizer from Thermal Expansion (double ALL the ores!

    )
  • Some form of better furnace (Iron, Electric, blulectric or powered furnace. It'l ease the load on your precious coal.)
  • Coke oven from Traincraft (Quadruples the power of your coal and gives creosote oil too!)
Though just complaining about it isn't going to get you any further. That's how life is. If you give up on everything because "you are bored", then you'll never get anywhere in life. Sh*t's gotta get done before the real fun begins.
