Fastway to generate land/world?

I've got a sp world that I want to eventually use as a server for some friends and I.

But the problem I'm running into is that FTB Infinity don't have mc helicopters and when I did try to add them it caused issues. The reason I thought I could generate land fast that way and find a huge chunk of land I could make my base on.

If I could generate the world folder I can then use mcmap like I've been trying but was using-
Minecraft Land Generator which seems just as fast as using a jetpack, if not slower.
 
Ehm I am slightly confused... Are you looking for a fast flight method to just fly around with, or are you looking for a method to pre-gen the map?

Any way to generate the map faster pretty much. I've already got a world going and I want to add more to it to find a location for base.

  • /pregen <dim> <minX> <maxX> <minZ> <maxZ> : Generate a portion of world between chunk coordinates [minX,maxX] and [minZ,maxZ]
  • /purgechunks : This command will try to free as many chunks as possible.
  • /setspawn <x> <y> <z> : Set the default spawn position at [x,y,z]
  • /pregenspawn <nchunks> : Will generate nchunks in all directions centered on spawn (Overworld only)

Infinity got GravitySuite. Cheat in a charged GraviChest, turn it on, hold the boost key and enjoy very fast creative style flight. Cheat in a pair of Boots of the Traveller (or similar Haste style equipment) to make it go even faster.
Delete it when you are done.

This is how I usually prospect out seeds before choosing one to settle in.

The Best way is to just Use mystcraft / rf Tools to build the World exactly how you want It without flying around for ages
