VIPs With Mods

Hey guys! Today i added FTB Trident server on a Minecraft-Server list, adding the ability to buy VIP.
VIPs add more commands and give some kits to players,(Kits: Some Applied items, Some Thermal items, Some Minefactory items and Some Flan's mod Items) all to 2$, 5$ and 10$.

After putting the server comes a guy who tells me that you can not sell items of a mod that I did not write.

This thing is real?

Because I see that in some server FTB give VIP with some modded items ..

As far as I am aware you are not allowed to sell blocks, doesn't matter if they are vanilla or modded the same is true for items.
