World Generation Ore Rates

I'd like to setup a server in the near future but im quite unhappy with the rates of xycraft ores and nikolite from redpower. I want to make them rare.

Is that somehow possible. Only info i gathered so far contained the hint to remove xycraft completly or accept the sad life of being unqualified.

I know Mystcraft had ages with high ore density. So there should be the possibility to change some of that.

*And agreed. Way too much of both. I'm solving half of this by removing Xycraft.
