Which items need be banned on Ultimate mod pack ?

Hey!
Here's my TekkitCustomizer config file, for Ultimate, with Mystcraft blocked for regular users.
It probably won't fill everything you want, but take a look to see what stuff I locked off.
I disable powertools for new users until they have been online for some time - to avoid instant grief.
Don't forget to re-allow other groups access in your permissions config to these items once they are above the level of 'brand-new-user'.

New users are promoted from 'Settler' group with only basic tools, up to 'Resident' as soon as they have started developing a settlement.
Sorry if it seems so controlling. We want to protect our players from direct attacks, and limiting access for newbies works for the most part.
Well you should ban the canvas bag too if you want to prevent bad things(Dupe bug)
Is there a way to ban items on a per world basis?
I have a few things that I dont want in the main world, but still want to allow in mining ages and custom ages, like mining laser and quarry.

Hmm, I actually need to ban somethings in one group of worlds, and ban other things in other groups of worlds, so global bans, overworld bans, pvp world bans, and mining age bans, is that possible?

Would you be happy to post your permissions file up on here please? - I've been stumped with permissions bukkit for around 3 days now. The main problem I have is that I don't really understand all this Yaml stuff =/

The only remaining issues that I have detected are incompatibilities with Bukkit plugins and FTB. Some plugins don't block Lasers, etc etc. So if you run Mystcraft, note that players can steal the Linking Books unless they are mounted in Book Receptacles on Crystal Portals.

Posting a bit late in this thread, but does TekkitCustomizer have the ability to block destruction of blocks. I would like to allow some users to have items on the list such as donators or mods and such, but if they place them then others could simply break them correct? I mean even if the player who breaks the block cannot own the block.. the block is still destroyed and not protected?

Try noitem, it can prevent the breakage of blocks. Tekkitcustomiser can also remove items for your inventory, so if you are worried about those players getting them, dont worry.
Currently I'm using PermissionEx's Modify World Permissions to block crafting, destruction, and so on. Would you recommend I contiune using that or switch to NoItem? I'm attempting to control banned items on a group basis. So for example someone of higher rank than member can craft an item originally banned for members.
My server stopped using PEX because of some serious lag issues. You can definitely use NoItem for that, just remember to negate the node where you restrict the items. Custom nodes are helpful. There is a way in YAML to combine hundreds of nodes to one, especially with NoItem, but I cant remember the syntax unfortunately.
But anyway, BPerms has the ability to create custom nodes, that and noitem should be handy.
