Spacetoad is only stating they are using the RF API, which KL has stated can replicate MJ. Seems the existing MJ code is just causing too many headaches, which might be eliminated by using the RF API.
So, really, need Spacetoad to confirm if it's the end of MJ or not.

The RF port is based on RedBuildCraft, which does replicate MJ; so yes, I can confirm it's going to use the RF API with MJ mechanics intact.

keyp. however, if RF cable connect to buildcraft machines and buildcraft kenisis pipes connect to RF machines, then imo, its basically RF.(not saying if it does happen that way it will be bad, i would just prefer keeping MJ separate)(i dunno if it will even happen this way)

t'is sad.

Don't add in any other cables and all MJ mechanics will be kept no matter what machines you use.

what i mean is, if you can power MJ stuff with RF, and RF stuff with MJ, and they are both using the "RF" api, then imo, MJ is just RF in different cables.(my opinion)

ADDITION: Nether crucible
CHANGE: Crucibles take a few moments to melt ingots
BUGFIX: Fixed client lag when paired with Thaumcraft

i nnormally wouldn't, but this time it has notable additions.

Botania update to 112
  • Added the Rod of the Black Mesa (Flaxbeard) Half Life 3 Confirmed.
  • Added the ability to shift-right click on virtually any block in the game with the Lexica Botania to open up a wiki page for that block. A few wikis are supported right now, more will be added in the future. In case there's a wiki for a mod not supported it'll fallback to the FTB Wiki. Other modders can register their own wikis through the API.
  • Sneaking with a Lexica Botania in hand now shows the name of the entry/wiki page that will be opened instead of a ? all the time.
  • [API] Added a wiki package and classes respective to them.
  • [API] Increased version number to 11.

Updated Waila Harvestability to v1.1.0:
- Added Silk Touchability and Shearability info
--- Silk Touchability shows as ✒ (by default) next to the Currently Harvestable string (only visible when silk touching gives you different drops than non-silk touching)
--- Shearability shows as ✂ (by default) next to the Currently Harvestable string (only visible when the block is shearable)
- Added German localization (thanks Vexatos)
- Fixed effective tool not showing for blocks that use material-based tool effectiveness (stone stairs are one specific example; this fixes tons of modded blocks as well)
- Made unlocalized tool strings not look nearly as out of place (e.g. something with tool class 'test' will now show as 'Test' instead of 'wailaharvestability.toolclass.test')

Updated TiC Tooltips to v1.1.10:

Socket blocks ignore redstone signal from the facing direction
This breaks some builds; there's a config option for it

Goo
Oh man! It's totally awesome!
Goo can be applied to a block.
Gooing up a gooy block will spread the gooey goodness.
Punch a gooey block to remove the goo and the adjacent goo
Shift-punch a gooey block to remove a one goo
Right-click gooey block with a block to replace the gooey blocks.
Mine the gooey block with an appropriate tool to break the gooey blocks.
Shift-right-click with some goo to adjust the gooey selection
Mining & replacing goo will occasionally cause goo loss.
The recipe is temporary -- get it while it's cheap!
Sculpting tool is now with 50% less NPE.
The time will be printed every 30 minutes if you're in full screen.
/f rng will spit out a random collection of random things
Improved the placement of giant mushroom blocks.
Added creative charge battery
Inoculated the screw pump against derp; hopefully it will work consistantly now
Fixed some barrel rendering bugs
Fix steam turbine speed syncing

I adore the new Malisis Doors.

- Added a new Shoji Door with new sound available in the Door Factory.
- Toned down the volume of Jail doors and Glass door sounds.
- Fixed duplication bug when breaking the top block of a Door.
- Fixed bounding box of Rotate and replace movement when opened.
- Removed the restriction for mixing blocks. Now you can mix two non opaque blocks.
- Added the possibility to mix ender pearls, and water and lava buckets to get specials textures.
- Mixing a non opaque block with an opaque one will make a one-way see-through mixed block.
- Mixing a light emitting block will make the mixed block emit light as well.
- Mixing a block of redstone will make the mixed block emit redstone current.
- Added an option for enhanced mixed block placement. When active, it allows the placement of the mixed blocks based on the direction the player is looking instead of using the face of the block clicked. Also, pressing the sneak key will inverse the mixed block.
- Fixed potential memory leak in ProxyAccess.
