When playing Feedthebeast I normally have on average, 30 fps on max settings, randomly, out of nowhere a lagspike comes dropping me down to about 3 fps, this happens every 3 minutes or so, and lasts about 45 seconds, this is really annoying, and any help would be greatly appreciated. P.s I have tried optifine and it doesn't help.

Check the console, I had have got this problem and when looking for an fix I found this post http://uk.gamespot.com/minecraft/forum/ftb-lag-spike-culprits-66163258/ I remember looking the console once and seeing something like what this guy saw. I'm going to try deleting the mod now. I'll tell you if it works.
