lol I subscribed. But my mic might be terrible, never heard it before.

I like what you're doing with Tinker's Construct. Youtube is kind of a jerk to me and either loads really slowly or just crashes. I'm in the process of watching it for the 3rd time, but I'm sure it's great.

I got so lucky finding that manganese ore. It has a fairly low spawn rate because it is a way to just magically make steel at a 1i1m:2s ratio. That's why I turned its spawn way down.

It's updated in the test build. I am actually AT THIS MOMENT finalizing the official build.

Then begins the harder part: permissions. Ars Magica, Thaumcraft will probably be the hardest.

Btw I am doing my best to preserve item IDs but I added and removed some stuff so the world preservation is kinda off.

The next release will be updated on several fronts. It is gated on getting Metallurgy3 worldgen to play nice with Dimensional Doors (a bug similar to the RP2 marble bug exists, still tracking down if I can config around it so people can make singleplayer worlds). Also, the next release will make sure that forestry backpacks and IC2 miners work right with everything (they are currently unconfigured and so the digger's backpack is all but useless).

This looks very nice! A lot of stuff there I want to play with like dimensional doors and ars magica. Going to sub on YouTube and fingers crossed you get permissions! Failing that I may build it myself with your configs :)

I am going to see if I can automate cutting a version of the pack that JUST has the freely distributable part, but has the configs for the restricted parts. That way you can add in the stuff you want on your own.

Watched the first episode and the start of the 2nd, good so far and really like the sound of the pack!

Also you must be ok if you have greyhounds, got a whippet myself and has a saluki until last year.

We're working with the developer to see if we can fix it. But I've been struggling to find a stable modpack to start seeking permissions on.

Shame about DD causing you problems, hope you get get to the bottom of it! I've been playing with a pack of my own and have included it and seems to run ok at the moment, but i dont think i have as many other world gen mods as you do!

Okay folks. So my next episode I want to get my power sorted out and start a farm. Any votes on what sort of power I should use?

Should I:
  1. Set up power generation via a charcoal generator powered by Ars Magica.
  2. Set up power via Mekanism, using their (very different) thermal generators.
  3. Set up power via Mekanism using Mekanism's solar.
What I want is more MJ in my workshop, so any of these would work. Using Mekanism has the upshot that I can start to use Modular Powersuits much earlier.

Your input is appreciated.
