Just to double check...

1. Your java is updated? To JAVA SE 7u17
2. There is/are no other JAVA installed on your system
3. Your FTB Launcher is installed to "C:\FTB\" (without the quotes)
4. You have turned off/ disabled / uninstalled any antivirus software on your computer
5. You are logged in as an administrator, not as a guest or normal user
6. You have allocated enough ram in the options tab ( I recommend the 768 if you have less then 2GB, or 1GB if you have more then 2GB on your system)
7. You have an actual paid for account for mindcraft
8. Your connected to the internet
9. Your computer does not have any Virus/spy-ware on it

NOT trying to be a smart-ass, but those are the first five pages of goole results.... (plus some actually)

Also, not sure if it matters, but i cant download modpacks from the Technic Launcher, either. Would it be so difficult to put up direct download for people with shit computers and internet like me?

Make sure you are not using firefox to check, it always shows it offline.
