That version will not work with MCPC+ as it's forge only. It's impossible (or very very difficult) to get bukkit & forge PEX permissions to work side by side.

It might be worth asking Legobear if he's bridge will work with 1.4.7

If you actually read through the posts (try the last page). It does work with MCPC+ and bukkit in 1.4.7. It just takes a very specific setup, I know I played on a 1.4.7 MCPC+ FTB Ultimate server with Mytown installed .

Assuming I'm reading this correctly. The last page is LegoBear explaining how to use MyTown with MCPC+ on 1.5.x & 1.6.x.

I won't backport my changes to the permission handling to 1.4.7 because I wont have the time to maintain that as wel once I start college in August

It seems like a really rough workaround for a permission setup which was never intended to work that way.

Try reading it again, he explains he has it working on 1.4.7 with MCPC+, you have to be careful of the perm system you use as pex will not work, and the permbridge he made is only 1.5/1.6.2 compatible as that is when he took over the mod. Basically, follow the directions, and use another bukkit perm system like groupmanager that will work with MCPC+ and Mytown.

But EVERYTIME i use his forgeperms without pex it says that it needs pex![DOUBLEPOST=1379128852][/DOUBLEPOST]Is there a REALLY Well explained totorial online to show how to install AND get the perms TO WORK!?!?!? I Dont Want to Have to OP all my players to use MyTown

Use alphaests version of MyTown for 1.4.7 and alphaests version of forge PEX.

You cannot use Legobears ForgePerms because it is not 1.4 compatible

Don't use PEX on the bukkit side because the permissions conflict. Try bPermissions.

yes, you can use groupmanager, I am using it on 1.5.2 and it works fine, I believe the 1.4.7 forum states that it can be used as well.

I haven't done it myself, I have only played on a mcpc 1.4.7 server with it in the past. I believe you have to use the mytown with pex perms, not the regular pex or you have to add the permissions to the base perm file for it to work in 1.4.7. I will look into but, I have been a bit tied up as my server should go live today and I have a few configs to adjust. there is already a couple of threads on the FTB forums about getting it to work with 1.4.7 have you looked at those yet?

you don't need to put a copy of the -ee.lutsu.... in each group they should all be in the default group, those just allow the commands to work not give the permission.

I use a different perm system but as an example you need it similar to this Groups
