    Problem found. Curse App is a no for launching the packs in any way, shape or form.

    I would say thats RAM issues. Beyond nees on vanmilla at least 4 gb of it. with HD you can go easily over 8 gigs of ram needed. perhabs even more.

    it produces steam, but does not push it into the turbines at all. just sitting there doing nothing. and yes i gave it initial fluid to begin the cycle. 7x7x9 should make enough steam to power 4 turbines with an intake of 2000mB/t each. in skyfactory 3 it works liek a charm, but beyond seems...

    as i said. they are color coded, so yes i did indeed put the input of teh turbine on the output auf the reactor, and vice versa red on reactor is output 'hot' red on turbine is input 'hot' blue on turbine is output 'cooled' blue on reactor is input 'coolant', so... i guess the colors have to match

    that was not working at all, so i felt dumbfolded. blue goes on blue, red on red. that didn't change from ol' big reactors... pack is beyond by the way.

    Maybe i'm blind... but what mod can be uses, aside from Extrautil2, to feed an Extreme Reactor enough water, to steam-power 4 turbines off of it?

    The Forge is not part of the Launcher, you know... It's still being updated. so i wouldn't call it defunct. and i'm too, using MMC, because it was the first Launcher that actually does what it says: launch Minecraft in different instances without the bloatware that curse is.

    FTB launcher - is a Minecrfat Launcher. Ans JUST a Minecraft launcher. Curse Launcher is a conglomarate of a multitude of Features a Minecraft-launcher does not need. also you cant install it where you want it to be installed. that was a big selling point of the original and curse destroyed it...

    as far as I can read in the notes of https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/ftb-beyond-release.220305/ they did not remove it. but afaik an obsitian pick should do it.

    id say: use MultiMC, move the folder Curse created into the instacnes folder of MultiMc, create a new instance,name it as the folder, clcik edit mods, install forge from tehre (it#s litteraly two clicks) and import the mods via drag and drop from your instance folder. should work.

    unfortually not. MultiMC does not convert the modpack.json to an instance.cfg also the Curse Launcher Twitch-Launcher will try to install only on C:\ - not everyone is d'accord with this, but they they dont give a shit. I'd rather use the FTB-Leagacy Launcher than Curse Twitch-Launcher. So it...
