Yeah, it was more curiosity than anything else. Plus I had some enchants on them and I thought it might be easier to repair than disenchant, remake and re-enchant Sent from my One using Tapatalk

Playing Agrarian Skies, I made a set of steel armor from Tinker's Steelworks but I can't figure out how to repair it. I tried putting the pieces in an anvil and adding steel ingots but it had the little red X and didn't work. I also tried repairing it in a workbench like the Tinker tools but...

But you can't get an ender quarry without a block of nether iridium. That's not very helpful. You can, but sulfur is a real PITA. Only a 10% chance to get any from pulverizing coal, and it's used in a lot of high end stuff.

That's way different from the normal version, where mining level 4 is cobalt and mining level 5 is manyullyn. And how am I supposed to mine cobalt? I just tried mining it with the same pick to no avail.

I finally found the nerve to venture into the nether in my AS world, mainly to find some sulfur. I found some but can't seem to mine it. I originally tried a Tinker's construct pick with a steel head and nothing. So I upgraded it to an obsidian head and added diamond and still no luck. It says...

I nuked the texture pack I was using (which was the one with ALL the mods) and just went with the AS pack. It works fine! I didn't try reinstalling clean machines, maybe that's where the issue is. But thanks!

Got it, my bad. Started looking at reactorcraft and got a bit scared. Looks fairly complicated with lots of room for screw ups, at least compared to big reactors. What's the payoff, aside from geekiness and bragging rights? Are reactorcraft reactors more powerful/efficient than big reactors?
