no offense... but it is hard to believe that you went from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 with such a short changelog.... were the others *.2 and *.3 failed attempts to fix a problem? and seems that 1.1.4 is yet just another attempt to fix a problem that has been ongoing for some time.....

it is a work around to let people play feed the beast. a fix means that the programs works as intended.. A Fix would be the launcher properly downloading all required files. properly installing forge, and the launcher being able to run MC without the need for the user to use some backend...
