Hello, I have been searching for this for a while, and come up with nothing. I really like the Xycraft multi-block tanks, but I can't get them to work anymore for some reason. At first they worked fine, but now, when I build one and right click on the valve, the structure doesn't form, and a couple of things happen.

This is the setup of the tank I am trying to use:

-- Items in my inventory shuffle around, and oftentimes some of them get deleted, and/or replaced by other items in my inventory.
-- Sometimes items in my inventory place themselves in my armor slots or my crafting slot, and the items in my crafting slot stay there until I close my inventory and open it again, but the items that had moved to my armor slots remain.

Inventory before I right click the Valve block:

-- Middle-clicking to sort my inventory causes Minecraft to freeze, and I get this error:

Same setup works perfectly fine for me, unless Im not looking at the picture correctly. 5x5 stone brick base, with stone brick corners, and glass viewer walls?

Yes, and it does not work. I cannot figure out what is wrong with it, either. I re-installed the modpack a few times; that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

No, I just made a superflat world and made the same structure. Not entirely sure on this (I could be completely wrong...), but could it have something to do with chunk boundaries.

I've added some mods, but at the moment I don't have access to the computer that has it installed. When I gain access I'll post here what mods I installed myself, and hopefully someone will know what's going on.

Current time: 2:50 PM
Time I'll likely update this: 4:50 PM

Alright, here's a list of the mods I manually installed to my MindCrack modpack
Optifine
Single Player Commands
Mouse Tweaks
Advanced Hud
Damage Indicators
Enchanting Plus
More Pistons
TF2 Teleporter

The best troubleshooting advice i can give is first remove all those extra added mods, and test to see if the tank will work. If you can create the tank without the added mods, then one of them is causing a conflict. If not, then you may need to force update or delete and re-download the pack.

If the tank does work after removing the extra mods, add in each mod one at a time and testing to see if the bug occurs. Once the issue occurs again, the last mod you installed into the pack is conflicting and should not be used.

You've probably gotten past this by now, but I think your problem is related to a nearby Wrathlamp. Break the lamp and reset the tank valve... that fixed this for me. You can even replace the Wrathlamp afterwards.
