Lately I've been watching DW20 SMP and have been wanting to play with machines from xycraft, especially the fabricator. I've gotten the latest version of xycraft from the xycraft wiki but that doesn't include any of the machines so if someone could link me to a download including the machines if there even is one, that would be great. Also, if there is a recipe list for the machines that would really help.

Thank you for your time

the stuff on the Forgecraft server is often from beta builds. The mod makers play there, and use it to test their changes out. The machines, power system, tanks, and other stuff from xycraft isn't available yet, unless it's been released in the last few days.

As soon as it's released, I'm sure it'll be put into an update for the packs.

just make sure you get the correct version of forge, else you will lose all the mod items in your world... ALL OF THEM!

I'm really liking this new stuff, but I'm getting so much Wheat I think I'll tear out the third floor of the new setup.
Don't tell them they're not actually outside.

Really nice output, even with just one layer of the soil blocks.

Do the golems know that those blocks are valid for planting on? Also, someone should so try these out with manual MultiFarms (don't know if it will work, I haven't messed around with either yet).

Yeah, they replant perfectly. Haven't tried it with Multifarms, but it's worth a shot.

I had to update Forge to the latest version. I'm using Direwolf20, so try the new Xycraft version without updating Forge, and if you get an error message on startup ("One of the mods requires Forge version [6.6.3.7.3)" or something), update Forge.

Make sure to backup your map 1st though, some users reported loosing their map after trying out Machines with the wrong forge version.

It's pretty simple to update it.

Fabricators are awesome, just saying - making electronic circuits that less painful to craft, early game - saving your ass later with solars.

Factorization's routers make fabricators even more awesome. Especially with item filters and ejector upgrades. Chests are handy too, because you can get away with fewer routers while also not having to worry about clogging the fabricators with too many items.
No need to blow your brains trying to put the solar panel fabricator adjacent to the input chest, the circuit fab, AND the generator fab. Just put it wherever and teleport the items in!
Also, multitanks, the Item IO block (like a hatch block on Forestry multifarms), a bucket, and a few fabricators makes coolant cells (and bog earth) a breeze. The item IO block will pull the empty bucket, have it filled by the tank, and the fabricator will very rapidly pull the filled bucket right back for another craft. I love how those things simply don't care if things don't stack.
