World Combination!

So basically, me and a friend of mine have both been running our singleplayer worlds for awhile now. We often get together and set up a bit of a server and flip-flop between playing on the two worlds. A permanent server would be nice, bus as of yet neither of us want to give up our singleplayer worlds. Is there a way to combine our worlds? Something like MCedit would be nice, but the generation would bother me a bit. Is is perhaps possible to add in his world as a mystcraft realm world or something similar? Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm worried MCedit might not work because it's not vanilla. I hope my fears are unfounded, but I don't want to risk my worlds yet.

Ofc, we decided on the secondary realms already, we keep my nether and his End, so that's not really a problem, unless weird geneation bugs happen.

making a mystcraft age and delete the contents of the fold and swapping in a world should work assuming you both have the same mod packs

To me, the addition of a world as a Mystcraft age would be the best solution. Maybe a portal between your two ages in each base, so that they are kinda in the same place ?
What pack are you using btw ?

It is possible to "mash" the two worlds together with an editor, but it is very complicated. A better idea would be the mystcraft system. If you want, you can put both your worlds as ages, and have an "unspoiled" overworld for exploring and the like.
