Hey folks, I would have tried the FTB support site, but like many others post here, no one seems to be checking the support site...

So, I ran into the dreaded "End of Stream" error this morning after using the wand focus of equal trade on some clouds and now I can no longer log into my own (3rd party hosted) server.

Doing some reading, I'm quite sure my problem is that I've got an invalid item on my toon in the server, so I thought, meh, why not just roll back the server to the last save state?

So I ftp into my server files, and download the world backup. Once I extract it, I notice that the files are not the same...

On the server in the world folder there are 11 different DIM folders, and the like.
In the downloaded backup I have 3 folders: world, world_nether, and world_end
Inside each of these backup files has a DIM1 and some other files, but nothing that even closely resembles the world folder on my server.

I'm confused.....

Could I also just replace my player.dat file instead of mucking with the whole backup?

Why don't you try putting the backup on the server and telling us what happens.....

Update: after searching through the backups, I replaced my player.dat file and it seems to have corrected the issue.

As for putting the backup onto the server, well, it's a multiplayer server, and if I bjork anything else up my players will probably lynch me :P

If you have the modpack, you can test the world in Singleplayer.

And I feel like there's a law against lynching lying around here somewhere. I seem to have lost it, though
