Hey, I'm not really sure where to post this so i'll just put it here..

I am playing on a server with the witchery mod, and vanilla saplings do not seem to be cooking, like at all.
I have put all the items in the correct spots and nothing seems to work..

Any ideas for help would be greatly appreciated :)

That’s very odd! You might not be able to post pics yet as a new member, but if you can those would possibly help. Are they definitely vanilla and not forestry’s version that look like vanilla ones? It seems unlikely but I thought I should check.

Testing this it seems the forestry ones actually work while the vanilla ones don't? This is a pain as the forestry ones do not spawn naturally, and i spawned them in to test..

...huh. Ok, that’s very odd. What pack are you playing? It makes me wonder if the recipe was removed somehow; the vanilla saplings produce specific things, like when you’ve got cooked clay jars with vanilla oak saplings in a Witches Oven, you get a chance of Exhale of the Horned One. Is there an alternate recipe for the things the vanilla saplings normally cook up to make? It’s not too bad to turn vanilla saplings into their forestry variants but it is manual - you have to analyse them with a Treealyser, if memory serves. That turns oak into Apple Oak, birch becomes Silver Birch, can’t remember what spruce becomes though I believe spruce becomes red spruce?.
