Hello everybody, I've got a question concerning the owl familiar from witchery mod.
The official witchery website says: "Tamed Owls can also be used to deliver an item to a location or player. Use the item on a owl to get it to take the item."
I made myself some owls and tamed them. (Also made some waystones.) Then I right-clicked on an owl with an item in hand in order to pass it to the owl, but as the mentioned website says: "Once tamed an owl will follow its owner, unless instructed to sit by right-clicking on it.". So the owl only starts sitting without taking the item.
My question is: How do I "use" an item on an owl? Respectively: How do I pass an item to an owl?
Putting the item in front of an owl wouldn't help either (right-clicking it with item in hand only makes things worse^^). Anyone yet sucessfully made an attempt? I'm currently playing DireWolf20 (v1.0.23) for MineCraft 1.6.4, is the reason the feature not beeing implemented in the early witchery mod? Couldn't find any helpful information on that so far...
EDIT: Obviously my last guess was right. It's witchery version 0.16.3 that is contained in the modpack, delivering by owl was implemented in version 0.20.0. So sadly there will be no owl mail unless I use a newer version.
