Wireless Redstone Signal

Is there any way to activate a send a redstone signal wireless-ly if that makes any sense. I know about the transmitter/reciever but u still have to pull a lever or w/e to send the signal, but is there any way to have an item on my character to send it to activate? Ive read about something like this from a chickenbone mod but it doesnt appear to be in the modpack. hell idk maybe i overlooked it.

I know some mods provide some sort of player/entity detector, when an entity/player comes close to it, it'll create a redstone signal.
are you looking for something like that?

There is a wireless remote that is a part of the Wireless Redstone mod, WRCBE (by chickenbones, same as the transmitter/receiver). Opening the GUI allows (shift+right click) you to set a frequency and it acts like a transmitter. It will emit a redstone signal on that frequency while you hold right click with it in your hand. If you want it to act like a lever you need to combine the receiver with a toggle latch (check out Project Red, it is in the mod pack).

Yup, toggle latch are the way to go with most stuff related to wireless signals. I made a secret base with drawbridge that I can open my secret entrance with the remote, easy and fun to have
