Why do vanilla modpack not work with FTb unleashed?

I have the correct texture packs for the version and it doesn't update the vanilla tiles any idea why?

Yes i have (assuming you mean sellect it under options>texture pack

https://gyazo.com/088d048519c88d44dc07515be85a6ec7 hit texture pack and this shows up and for this pack that is selected it shows the default texture but sphax purebdcraft that i infused with a FTB texture pack changes the way the menus look but still doesn't change the vanilla textures.

Does the folder with the changed textures have textures for vanilla items/blocks in it?

Yes this pack is to only update the vanilla textures no FTB unleashed items.

Yes i just downloaded a 1.5 texture pack and it worked which is odd.

Huh that's weird. Reinstall your instance is the only other idea I have. Just back up your world(s) first.

i tried out afew others and it seems 1.5.2 doesn't work but textures for 1.5 work so ill just go with that thank you for trying to help me
