Where is the plugins folder? How do I install Essentials?

Trying to start a server, got it to work, but its on adventure mode.

I want to be able to let all players start with four tools, so I'm trying to use Essentials.

Can't seem to find a download for it or the plugins folder for where it would go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you need to use a modded server jar like mcpc+

You could try the forgeessentials it has that feature in it plus a fair amount of others. Forgeessentials mod would go in the core mods folder if I remember correctly but I'm not sure about just plain essentials. It's a lot easier than waiting for multiple mods to update. I tries having some bukkit mods but it was a pain waiting for them to update along with ftb. Though I'm not quite sure what all your looking for. Hope this helped a little.

True. I found that thread yesterday before clicking your link. But also if you click the link for the differences of mcpc and bukkitforge the reviewer seemed to like forgeessentials. But he doesn't need to install it it would seem.
