Where are the config files hidden?

Deleted the whole folder ftb was installed in.
There are no files named ".*ftb.*" or ".*feed.*beast.*" on the whole harddisk.
After re-downloading ftb, it still remembers my account data etc.

Where are you storing this information?

The folder called ftblauncher in the %appdata%/ folder like Minecraft

I don't have an appdata folder, but thanks.

My grep over all accessible folders finished in the mean time though: the config file had the uncanny name "logindata" and was located in ~/.ftb-launcher

( Should have searched for folder names too, not just filenames :/ )
