Title when i join a server it says "internal exception: java.io.IOException.

Details of the issue (the pack is modified, galacticcraft is added in, but the rest of it is normal)
when i open up my minecraft via my twitch account it starts the client, but then minecraft itself takes more than an hour until it's finally done loading. then when i select multiplayer and join any server it starts to load again, this time for like 10 minutes until it crashes and says: "internal exception: java.io.IOException" my friends can join and it doesn't take long for them to open minecraft or join the server. and when i try to join the server the other people on the server see me join and then see me leave with this message: (included in the log files) singleplayer does work
