What's New in the Nether?

I'm just wondering if the pack currently adds anything new or special to the nether, such as ores, resources...

I already know about the beehive, just wondering if there's anything else.

Pyrite ore/dust which is used in GregTech. Got some yellowish colour to them and are pretty easy to spot.
2 Benefits: Usable through GregTech as stated and holds a boatload of XP. I usually hit level 30 everytime i go to the nether to mine these.

There is the simples Ores mod, that hads a fair few ores to the neather, like Copper, Tin and all vanilla ores.

The same person also made a NeatherRocks mod, that is different with lots of more crafting.

You can also find Iridium Ore in the Nether.

So far, I've come across 3 Iridium ore in the Nether, compared to none in the overworld. I've spent a lot more time in the overworld than I have in the nether. The one thing with the nether though, is the iridium ore stands out from the soul sand/netherrack like a giant beacon!
