What is this "Void Goo" or whatever

So i was playing some regrowth, latest version, and i came across this weird oil-like liquid while spelunking. When I tried to pick it up with a bucket, it gave me a water bucket, and when i placed it back down it was that dirty brown water. It had these weird particles in it, similar to the particles you see when looking into a Tesseract (Thermal Expansion), but you could see the particles through blocks, but not the liquid. Anybody know what that is and what mod its from?
