What is a fun, smaller modpack?

Hi, I'm brand new to the world of FTB. I discovered modded Minecraft recently and I LOVE IT I'd just like to know, does anyone know a good, smaller modpack that could be run on my less-than-decent computer? I've tried Monster and Direwolf20 1.6.4 but was frustrated by slow chunk loading and only 10-15 fps. Less than 100 mods would be ideal.

FTB Lite 2 looks actually a little small lol Agrarian Skies looks fun though I'll give that one a shot
