What do MFFS Projector module containments do?

The wiki,

Has no info on what the Projector module containments does in MFFS, I can see you can change its shape and size like an adv cube, however whats the diffrence of this than the adv cube?

Though I'd chide you for not using the official wiki, it seems the official wiki hasn't quite gotten MFFS info yet.

The containment module is basically the same as the cube, but you can project it in front of the projector rather than around the projector. You can also alter the dimensions individually. That means it can be a rectangular prism rather than a strict cube and the containment area doesn't need to be centered on the projector along any axis (though for aesthetics and optimal functionality it's still a good idea).

Great examples of its possible applications are DW20's wither arenas in his most recent SMP and SSP seasons.
