weird bug that I can't describe in a title with clicking

Details of the issue:
for some reason I can't mine or break stuff with bare hands or even with tools, for example when i was on a slime island i couldn't break any of the stuff except the regular vanilla grass, even when i used the sword axe pickaxe shovel or barehand , please HELP it's getting really annoying and disruptive​
