Village Spawns in Biomes o Plenty

I recently installed Biomes o Plenty for 1.7.10 and I cannot get any villages to spawn and that is searching over 2-3k in each direction. I verified the configuration and it has the default settings which allows villages in about half the biomes.

Suggestions?
 
Just unlucky I guess? I have had no trouble finding villages in my normal BoP based worlds.
 
BoP has a config option to increase the frequency of villages. I think the default is 32, I use 24 with BoP.
 
You should have a structures subfolder within the Biomes o Plenty folder, which will contain villages.cfg.
This lets you define which biomes villages can spawn in, and their distance.
