Summary of the problem Vanilla chests cannot be opened

What is the bug? After the latest update to Direwolf20 1.12-1.12.2-1.5.0 i can no longer open vanilla chests. All other inventories i checked still worked fine.

Thanks for your issue report. Could you please create a brand new world, placing a chest down and attempting to open it and see what happens then, let me know?

This can be closed. I found that the issue was caused by having optifine installed, i forgot that i had it in to deal with lag, when i removed it i could access the vanilla chests again.
