My first modpack playing ftb used EE3 from 1.4.7 (Unleashed), so as I progressed deeper and deeper into liking ftb, when I switched to ultimate, they had it there too and was very relieved. Swithcing again after practically doing everything there is to do in ultimate, Im trying direwofl20 and loving it way more so far, however there was no EE, so, I downloaded EE3 come to find it was the same as the 1.4.7 version, long story short, is there a way to make the 1.4.7 version compatible with 1.7.10 without using the newer 1.7.10 version of EE3?

You got your unleashed and ultimates switched

Ultimate is 1.4.7

Unleashed is 1.5.2

Major changes to the Minecraft code means that mod authors sometimes have to completely rewrite the mods.

Pahimar is still working on the 1.7.10 version.

In the meantime, you might want to look at ProjectE to see if you like their mechanic.
