This is probably an easy/dumb question, but i'm new to Minecrafting. Been running direwolf20 1.6.1 on my server and want to update it to the newest, how do i go about this? Anything special i need to do on the server end?

If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Install to a new folder structure and then copy the world save over - that would most likely be the easiest way forward.
(make sure to take backups first, in case things go wrong)
