Hello all,
As Im sure many of you do. I install various mods ontop of the modpack im using such as optifine, armor status hud etc.
However When a modpack updates it loses all the info about the mod's you have installed overtop install overtop through the edit mod's button.
I suggest that in the same window as "and update is avaliable. Do you wish to update". That there be small checkbox. "attempt to reintegrate added mods" Or similar. Then it launches the instance with the mods you originally had installed. If it comes up with any crash then it instantly uninstalls those mods again untill you manually sort it out. Otherwise you dont have to readd all the mods everytime a pack updates.
