Update destabilized our mystcraft ages.

My server was recently updated and I went to check on my digging and bees in a mining age, and got a potion effect. I was far enough in and pulled everything out, but did this happen to anybody else?

There is a bug that many ages are a little unstable right now. The fix is already in the upcoming bugfix release, I’m just very short on time right now.

In the meantime, you (or the server admin, if that is not you) can do "/myst-toggleworldinstability [age id] false" to disable instability on any previously stable ages.

I've had this happen to myself as well. To stop any head ache, though, I've just simply disabled all instability, since I don't cheat any way in my LP. What, infinite diamonds? I can get that with hard work, dang it!

Don't think it would work too well if you just disabled all instabilities in your case, because it sounds as though you allow your users to write their own books, but if only you are allowed to write the ages what would be the point?

Just as an additional note to the above, though, that this will only remove instability from after that command onward. It does not remove decay blocks from what I understand, which still mean your age could be devoured alive before your eyes. If possible, you should revert to a backup before you updated to the latest version, and then toggle instability off on all of your pre-existing ages (at least the ones that matter), and then re-update your server.

....You DID have a backup, right? If not, well, hopefully you can track down any decay blocks before they spread, if there are any placed. Good luck!
