Unleashed 1.1.7 Rolling Machine

Hi guys,

I'm running an Unleashed 1.1.7 server with powerconverters enabled and for some reason rolling machines can't be crafted. It comes up in the crafting table but then can't be picked up. Not running bukkit or anything else just the server file downloaded from the launcher.

Checked the buildcraft config and "B:machine.alpha.rolling.machine=true" and it is not banned in NEI so I'm not sure what the deal is.

Any ideas?

"can't be picked up" typically means the client and server are running different datasets. Check your configs and installed mods.

hmm both pc and server have buildcraft-A-3.7.2.jar

Check the configs as well.

The config files don't have version numbers they are text files located in the "config" directory of your server and your client. There is a mismatch between config files on the server and client. If you can do the crafting in a single player test world then backup the server config files and copy the ones from your client to the server. That will get them to match. I would also make a backup of your world file before you start as well. That way you have some restore points in case something does go wrong.

sorry was looking at the buildcraft config files /facepalm

copied the railcraft config files from the server into my local install and i still have the same problem, i can't craft blast furnace bricks or coke oven bricks.
other things will craft though, gave myself some iron plates and could make tank walls ok and someone else on the server has steam engines

tried it in single player and it works fine

it could be another config file from another mod. if you SSP is fine copy alll the configs to the server.

ok, copied all the configs from my local machine to the server and it seems to be working ok

hopefully it works for the other players as well
